
Small Business Saturday is November 25th! Here at Top of the Coast we love to #shoplocal so we decided to highlight some fantastic locally owned stores to visit, especially on Small Business Saturday but really any day, to find gifts for everyone on your list. We would also like to invite anyone who is reading this who owns a small business to put their information in the comments section of our blog post. We love to support everything local! Congaree and Penn
Congaree and Penn is a farm located 20 minutes outside of Downtown Jacksonville. It’s a great place to buy gifts for the foodies on your list. They have events year-round and they also offer a unique assortment of gifts on their website here, that feature gourmet fresh flavors that anyone who loves food will appreciate, such as creole tomato jelly, pecan oil, a variety of rice from their farm and other unique and flavorful items.


Manifest Distilling
Manifest is downtown Jacksonville’s only full-scale distillery that opened in the fall of 2016. They make craft spirits and offer a selection of vodkas, gins, and whiskeys. They also have distillery tours where you can go learn about what goes into making their craft spirits. The food and wine lover may enjoy making a cocktail with a bottle of their Florida Citrus Vodka, which is crafted with Florida grown oranges, grapefruit, and lemon. The Write Touch
The Write Touch is an adorable store in San Macro that has an assortment of stationery, gifts, and accessories that many are sure to love. You can pick up a gift at their San Marco store or online here.


Jax Cooking Studio
Jax Cooking Studio is a local cooking studio for those looking to learn, share, discover and develop their cooking skills. If you have someone on your Christmas list who has a passion for cuisine, give them this fun-filled and thoughtful gift where they’ll be able to sharpen their skills or learn a new technique. Cultivate Jax
Cultivate is a Jacksonville shop in the Riverside/Avondale area that is committed to eco-friendly, US made, healthy-lifestyle products. Bark on Park
Bark on Park is a located in Historic 5 Points Riverside, one of the most dog friendly areas in Jacksonville, Fl. Established in September of 2009, they specialize in dog boarding, daycare, grooming and training. In addition to services, their boutique offers natural food, baked goods, human apparel, and the most innovative and entertaining accessories in the city for your four-legged friend. Local Arts Markets
We’d also like to mention the following local areas where you can stop and purchase a variety of wonderful goods from local vendors.
You can check out the Riverside Arts Market (RAM) on Saturdays from 10 AM-3 PM under the Fuller Warren Bridge in the Riverside area of Downtown Jacksonville. RAM has an array of offerings including live music, food, local artists, and vendors. See more about RAM on their website here.
Another great community market to check out is the Atlantic Beach Arts Market. The Atlantic Beach Arts Market (ABAM) is open 7 days a week from 10 AM to 5 PM. Their 5,000 square foot store sells goods from over 90 local artists. It is the perfect place to shop small and purchase gifts which include wall art, jewelry, paintings, pottery, glass, fine art, vintage items, handmade gifts, and more.
